1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Schlora platform, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. These terms apply to all users, including parents and students.

2. Description of Service

Schlora is an AI-powered exam preparation tool for Indian school students (Class 6–12, CBSE & ICSE). The platform generates practice questions, evaluates answers, and provides progress tracking. The service is accessed via a web browser and is intended for educational purposes only.

3. Account Eligibility & Responsibility

• Accounts must be created by a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or above.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and PIN-protected child accounts.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

4. Child Accounts

Each parent account may have a maximum of 2 child profiles. If you require more than 2 child accounts, please contact us at mail2pranav02@gmail.com to discuss special pricing. Child accounts are PIN-protected and managed entirely by the parent.

5. Subscription & Billing

• New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required during the trial.
• After the trial, continued access requires a Pro subscription at ₹499/month.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled.
• After the trial expires without upgrading, the account is subject to a soft lock — features remain visible but cannot be used until a Pro plan is activated.
• Billing and payment processing is handled by our payment provider. We do not store payment card details.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract content from the platform in bulk.
• Share your account credentials with others outside your immediate family.
• Use the AI features to generate content unrelated to educational purposes.
• Misrepresent your identity or the information provided in your account.

7. AI-Generated Content

Practice questions and evaluations are generated by AI (OpenAI GPT-4o-mini). While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors. Schlora is a supplementary study tool and should not be the sole source of exam preparation. We recommend cross-referencing with official NCERT textbooks.

8. Intellectual Property

All platform content, branding, design, and code are the intellectual property of Schlora. NCERT curriculum content used as reference is the property of the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT). Your usage data and session results remain your property.

9. Limitation of Liability

Schlora is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including exam outcomes. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be notified via email.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
